Ann Williams
Sergeant
Sergeant Ann Williams started at NWPD as a part-time officer during the early 1980s. In 1983 she was hired by the Wilkes County Sherriff Department. While working for the WCSD Sgt. Williams worked patrol, civil, and juvenile. She left the Sheriff’s Department and started full-time with the Police Department on 11/13/1996.
Williams worked in the patrol division as a Community Policing / DARE Officer. In 2002, she was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and assigned to the Criminal Investigation Division.
