Randy Bennett
Captain
Captain Bennett has a two year degree from Surry Community College and has earned his Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate from the State of North Carolina. He has been a sworn police officer since March 1986. He came to the North Wilkesboro Police Department in July 1987. Captain Bennett is originally from Alleghany County. He was promoted to Patrol Sergeant in 1990 and to Captain over the Patrol Division in 1995. He also has the duties of payroll for the department and safety coordinator for special events held in the Town of North Wilkesboro.
